This is my third attempt to make a pair of socks with the magic loop methods. I always seems to hit a snag when I get to picking up stitches at the gusset. I will start posting pictures of my progress tomorrow.

No Knitting Summer

I have picked up my knitting needles exactly once all summer. Anyway Rhinebeck trip is coming up in October so hopefully I will be inspired to knit something.

Disappearing Hats

I can't seems to hold on to any hats that I knitted this winter. I have knitted three hats and they seems to have disappeared into the "black hole" of my daughter's schools locker.

Okay, know I haven't posted in awhile, but that does not mean I have not been knitting. I have finally finished the scarf for my scarf exchange. I have also finished a hat. I just need to take some pictures and post them.

I am finally posting pictures of the two hats I made for Eliana. I have just finshed a blanket, but I haven't had a chance to block it yet.

I am off to the yarn store today to get some yarn to make my niece a blanket. I am going to try and stick to my budget, but I know I am going to have a very hard time. I want to finish this blanket so I can get it in the mail before Christmas.

Well on Saturday I am going with my knitting group to the New York Sheep and Wool Festival. I am very excited because this is my very first time going there. I hope I can control myself and stick to my yarn budget.

I can't believe its been months since my last post. It seems I can only knit when I go to the Laundromat early Saturday morning. I have been knitting away at my sock. I am about to start a baby blanket but I can't decide on a color.

Well, I can't believe it a new year has began. 2007 was not one of my better year of knitting. However, with the start of 2008, I have promised to make a real dent in my stash by completing more projects. First on my list, is to complete the pair of socks I started in October.

I have been knitting away at my sock every free moment I get. I think this pair of socks is definitely going to end my slump. I took it with me to the laundromat this morning. I detest doing laundry, but sitting there knitting my sock really made the chore bearable. I won't post a picture of it until I have a decent amount completed.

Knitting Group at Prospect Park

I am finally getting back by love of knitting. Today my knitting group went to Prospect Park to attend the fifth anniversary of Meet Up. It was a perfect day, the sun was shining and there was not a cloud in the sky. I know this sounds corny, but the weather was perfect. I got some knitting done on my sock. I am almost done with my blue hat. Hopefully I should complete it by tomorrow.

The blue hat is still not finished. Hopefully, I will complete it before my next knitting group meeting. It does not help that I am totally caught of in Ravelry. I have been organizing my stash and needles so I can organize them on the site. Even my daughter Ashley started a hat the same time as I did and she has completed it and is now making a matching scarf.

My Knitting mojo is coming back!!

I can feel my knitting "mojo" coming back. I don't know if it is the cooler weather, but suddenly I want to knit. I am in the middle of knitting a hat and I am about to start a lacy wristlet.

The slump continues. I have not finished one knitted item all summer. Hopefully, September will be better.

I went to my knitting group last and started a scrap wrap. I am hoping to finish it before my next meeting with my group. I have been starting a lot of projects lately, but I just can't seems to complete anything. I am planning to get a digital camera, so hopefully I will be able to post a picture of a completed project.
